During the COVID pandemic, all the offices offered work from home for the employees. While, the offices started inviting the employees to work in offices as usual. A report, a C-Suite survey by Colliers and Awfis stated that almost 75% of employees resumed work in 35% of companies in India. Also, some companies like TCS have started the hybrid model, which combines work from home and work from the office.
Work from home to end soon… Offices to function normally
Now, 74% of the companies are working on a productive model to increase the companies’ performance. The companies are planning to revoke the office working as part of this. At present, 75 to 100 percent of employees returning to the office in telecom and consulting sectors. Ramesh Nair, India CEO and Managing Director, Market Development, Asia, has said that the COIVD pandemic has affected various sectors.
Ramesh Nair mentioned that fine flexible spaces as a better option for work. As per the reports, more than 54 percent of workers in the IT and ITES sectors prefer distributed workspaces. The central government has given the flexibility to the employees who are working in all SEZs on the demand of providing a uniform WFH policy across the country. IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other major IT companies are in a way to call the employees to offices.
