The reports confirm that the most used chatting app WhatsApp will stop working on older iPhone models and Android phones from 31st December onwards. Wahtsapp is not going to work on 49 older versions of Smartphones. Users with older iPhone models will have to update their smartphones to version 12 or latest version and Android users will have a version OS 4.1 or higher to have the WhatsApp benefits. As per the new update, iPhone 5 and iPhonse 5C mobiles will not be able to access Whatsapp from 31st December onwards.
WhatsApp to Stop Working on Older Versions of iPhone, and Android Phones from December 31
WhatsApp is expected to discontinue its services for iOS 11, Android OS 4 and older from December 31. In this list, 49 outdated handsets were included from Apple, Samsung, LG, Huawei, and others. iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c users may switch to their newer iPhones and whereas iPhone 5s or later models can be updated to iOS 12, they can get uninterrupted service of Whatsapp.
Whatsapp Users must have to use an iOS 12 and Android 4.1 or newer updates to have WhatsApp on their phones. The 49 phones announced are not compatible with any new operating systems. However, most of the users are upgraded to the newer version Smartphones nowadays.
