WhatsApp has recently updated its features and added 4 new features to support users. These features include longer group subjects & descriptions, document captions, and descriptions, allowing to share of up to 100 media files [photos/videos], and avatars. WhatsApp 4 New Features:
Document caption:
When you are sharing documents, you can name them with a caption. The pop-up will appear when the users are trying to select a document. The caption allows the users to find it easily whenever required.
Longer group subjects and descriptions:
If the users want to add a description for the groups, they can select the subject and description for the group. Users can mention the description for the group with 2048 characters. Previously it was 512 characters and it has been now increased to 2048 characters.
Share up to 100 media:
Users are given the privilege to share up to 100 media images and videos with their contact list. This feature is implemented to share any albums with friends and families easily. Earlier, users can select 30 images/videos at a time to share them, while it has been now extended to 100.
Create Personalised Avatars:
This feature has earlier introduced with WhatsApp for the Android 2.22.24.73 update. Creating a personalized avatar allows the users to select their avatar and keep it as their profile photo. They can even use it as a sticker. WhatsApp is again highlighting this feature for users who are unaware of this.
