However, reports suggest the tech giant is testing the next version of its One UI software, and that it could be introduced with Samsung’s new flagship smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series could launch with One UI 5.1
A report suggests that Samsung is testing the One UI 5.1 software update internally for select S-series phones. The One UI 5.1 software is being tested for the Galaxy S22 series (Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra) and could also be included in the S23 series. The Galaxy S23 series is set to launch in early 2023.
A tweet shows the update for the Galaxy S22 series, with the ‘x’ in the code indicating the S22 series models. The new update is going to release after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
What’s to expect with One UI 5.1?
New features and new changes will come with the new update One UI 5.1. As part of the new software update bug fixes and small changes are expected. However, the One UI 5.1 software update is releasing with S23 series. The update will be revealed in the launch event.
