Delhi University’s School of Open Learning Application For UG, PG Courses Starts Today

Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) application process for undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses has started today, 5th October. Aspirants who wish to apply for DU SOL UG and PG admission 2022-23 can send their applications online. Students seeking admission in UG courses must have passed Class 12. Admission will be given to Delhi University in its constituent colleges based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The last date of admission will be October 31. Candidates who qualified for the CUET exam with a good score can proceed to apply before the last date.

DU SOL is having a good name in offering distance education across the nation. DU offers various UG and PG courses for the students. In the year 2021-22, approximately 5 lakh students got enrolled for SOL admissions in various courses.

DU SOL UG and PG admission 2022-23 will be done in the Department of Distance and Continuing Education. The Delhi University has established Department of Distance and Continuing Education, Faculty of Open Learning and Open Learning Development Centre under the aegis of the Campus of Open Learning/School of Open Learning.

The department has adopted the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework 2022 under NEP – 2022. Arts, Humanities and Commerce and Management courses will be offered to study at the undergraduate (UGCF 2022) and postgraduate levels.

The DU has added 6 new courses the School of Open Learning (SoL), to support learners in job-oriented programmes. DU’s new courses include Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences, Bachelor of Management Studies, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts-Economics (Hons), and Masters of Library and Information Sciences.

DU SOL Undergraduate & Postgraduate Degree Courses

The UG degree courses include three or four years of graduation, with multiple exit options within this period, with appropriate certification/diploma, as per the prospectus.

The undergraduate programmes are Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Arts Programme, and Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Political Science, Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.), Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) English, Bachelor of Library and Information Science, and Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Economics.

For postgraduate programmes, the department offers a Master of Library and Information Science, Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts (Hindi), Master of Arts (Political Science), Master of Arts (History), Master of Arts (Sanskrit), and Master of Commerce.
