Delhi University Simulated Merit List Releasing today at du.ac.in

Delhi University Simulated Merit List is going to release today, 14th October at 5 pm on DU’s official portal, du.ac.in. After announcing the DU merit list, the preferences change window will be open for aspirants who wish to change their preferences. Candidates can change their preferences on or before 16th October at the preferences window on the DU portal.

Delhi University releases the simulation list before the announcement of the First Common Seat Allocation System-2022 (CSAS-2022) round 1 merit list. Through the simulation list students will be able to assess their probabilities of locking admission in a program of a College. After going through the DU simulated merit list, Candidates can change their preferences in the preferences window before 16th October 2022 04:59 pm.

Candidates whose names listed in the simulation merit list are advised to re-order their preferences by selecting maximum programmes plus College preferences offered to them by the University under the “Available Preferences”.

Delhi university’s first merit list will be released on October 18, 2022.

DU UG Admissions 2022-23

Delhi University offers admission in all UG Programs for the candidates who qualified the Common University Entrance Test- Undergraduate 2022 (CUET (UG) examination with good merit. As per the statistics, more than 2.17 lakh students have registered for University’s UG programmes. It is slightly less than last year’s registrations. In 2021 2.87 lakh aspirants applied for admissions; while in 2020 3.53 lakh candidates were registered for DU UG admissions.

DU Admission Phases

Admission through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) is being conducted in three phases

  • Submission of the CSAS-2022 application form,
  • Selection of programmes and filling of preferences,
  • Seat allocation and admission.

The admissions are open for 79 UG programmes across 67 colleges, departments, and centres. The programmes include 206 combinations of BA courses.
