The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) to launch WhatsApp Chatbot for Public Interaction, and Complaints Registration. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will launch the chatbot on February 1.

An official said, “The chatbot will help citizens and the commission to interact in a more effective manner. Some of its cases include complaint registration, searching information and tracking complaint status.
“It will be used by the commission for nudge-based awareness communications to children, women and Anganwadi workers, etc.”
The DCPCR is the government authority of Delhi government to protect and promote implementation of rights and policies related to children such as immunisation, education, protection against abuse and nutrition.
WhatsApp is offering various services to the public in India. WhatsApp Chatbot service introduced for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited for QR ticketing service. WhatsApp Chatbot is associated with the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) for payments. ‘Namma Metro’ travellers can buy and recharge their tickets on WhatsApp. BMRCL is first to use the WhatsApp Chatbot based QR ticketing.
In August, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation’s (IRCTC) has incorporated the WhatsApp chatbot service. Using this serice food will be delivered to the customers to their seats. Using the PNR number passengers can place their order and then even track their order details.
