The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important notice regarding the marking scheme of theory and practical examinations. The board has issued directions to all the schools regarding the theory and practical examinations to conduct smoothly. CBSE has also issued the marks break-up for the theory and practical exams and also the information of the appointment of external examiners and answer booklets. Students can check the CBSE Marking scheme and other details from the official notice on CBSE official website, cbse.gov.in.
CBSE Subject-Wise Marks Break-Up for Practical & Theory Exams
“It has been observed that schools are committing mistakes while uploading the marks in respect of practical, project and internal assessments,” the CBSE statement noted.
The CBSE subject-wise marks break up for practical and theory exams has been issued to aid and assist the schools to conduct the practical, project and internal assessments and conduct of theory examinations.
The CBSE notice 2023 contains class, subject code, subject name, maximum marks for theory exams, maximum marks for practical exams, maximum marks for project assessment, maximum marks for internal assessment, whether external examiner will be appointed for practical and project assessment, whether practical answer book will be provided by the board and type of answer books that will be used in theory exams.
As per the scheduled dates, CBSE practical exams will start on January 1, 2023 and the theory exams from February 15, 2023, while the date sheet for the board exams is yet to notify the for Class 10 and Class 12.
