Indian Institute of Management (IIM) started the Common Admission Test (CAT) registration process today, 3rd August. The IIM released the CAT official notification on 31st July, accepting applications from today. Candidates who are waiting to apply for CAT 2022 can apply before 14th September 2022. The CAT registration form is presently accessible on IIM official portal, iimcat.ac.in. Aspirants who wish to apply for CAT 2022 can visit the IIM portal and fill up the application form with the required details. Also, attach the required scanned copies of documents along with the application form. The IIM has announced the CAT exam date as 27th November 2022.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts the Course-Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) examination for aspirants seeking admission in short-term posts. This CAT short-term course has been introduced in consultation with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The CAT course is aligned with the Qualification Pack BSC/Q8101 – Accounts Executive of BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSISSC). Candidates who passed or appearing 12th (10+2) examination are eligible to take admission in CAT Course. Institute has Coaching Centres all over India. The Students desirous of pursuing the course have to get admitted in their nearest Regional Council or Chapter or ROCCs.

CAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

CAT 2022 Application Fee
₹1100 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
₹2200 for all other candidates.
- Please note that a candidate needs to pay the registration fee only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/ she is applying for.
- SC, ST and PwD candidates must upload a copy of their SC/ ST/ PwD certificates at the time of registration. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

- Upload all the required documents and photographs.
- Pay the CAT 2022 Registration Fee online.
- Click on the submit button.
